The house
Four floors of stairs, one room per floor and, at the top, a terrace that looks over the whole village and the sea as far as Portovenere. It belonged to an uncle who was a fisherman, and his boat is still painted on the door.
The house is small and vertical: kitchen on the first floor, living room on the second, bedrooms above. Every window faces the sea.
It is a five-minute walk downhill from the station. Cars can’t enter the village: if you drive, leave the car in the car park above.
